TENNIS
Here is why: Players face speeds faster than a slapshot or a pitch in baseball, they have spin that affects the direction of the bounce, and they are sprinting while tracking the ball. In baseball, the batter is stationary. In hockey, the goalie is typically not moving more than a few feet.
On top of this is the sheer volume of the number of times each visual skill must be executed in any given match.
Baseball players: maybe 20 pitches. Goalies: maybe 40 shots. Tennis averages 300-600 shots per match.
Of all sports that should do visual performance training,
I place tennis as number 1.
Give yourself an edge against your competition and train your eyes today.
Tennis holds the highest visual demands of any sport.
